Labor Certification

It is the primary method by which an individual beneficiary obtains permanent residence status. This process involves three steps:

Labor Certification (Perm)

The employer is required to conduct a labor market test to demonstrate that there are no minimally qualified American workers willing and able to perform the position on a long-term, “permanent” basis.

Peticion de Visa de Inmigrante

It is the employer's petition filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and includes the approved LC and evidence that the sponsored individual meets the minimum requirements for the sponsored position.

Application for Permanent Residence

It is the individual's application for permanent residence status.

– At the end of the reservation, you will be able to select the type of appointment you prefer: either an online appointment or an in-person appointment.

Citizenship or Naturalization

It is the procedure by which an individual who was not born in the United States can obtain American citizenship. You must meet the eligibility requirements:
– Be 18 years of age or older at the time of submitting Form N-400, Application for
Naturalization.
– Be a legal permanent resident (possess a “Green Card”).
– Prove that you have resided continuously in the United States for the last 5 years.
(In some cases, if you are married to a US citizen, this requirement may be
only 3 years)
– Demonstrate that you have been physically present in the United States for 30 months. (In
some cases, this requirement may be 18 months if you are married to a citizen
United States)
–Show that you have lived for at least 3 months in the state or USCIS district where you
claim residence.

Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

It is a temporary immigration status for eligible foreigners from designated countries. Congress establishes a procedure that allows the Attorney General of the United States to provide TPS to aliens in the United States who are temporarily unable to return to their countries due to environmental disasters, ongoing armed conflicts, or other extraordinary conditions.
